Train to Germany

Next day was a slow start, an 11am checkout, and the little kids played with me in the Kids Club at the Marriott apartments.

Then taxi to Marne le Vally Chessy, to catch the TGV high speed train to Strasbourg, where we changed trains to go onwards to Munich.

We arrived late in Munich where Franziska and Uschi were waiting for us!  Wonderful to see them!  and big hugs all round.

They took us in two cars to the hotel and the little kids went to bed, babysat by a grumpy Matt, while Uschi went over some plans for things to do.

The next morning we had breakfast  at the hotel then set off towards Neuschwanstein.  We drove towards the Alps, and into the Alps, first a little dusting of snow and by the time we had reached our first attraction (Wieskirche) the snow was about a foot deep.

Montana-Rose and Albie went made jumping about in the snow, and making snowballs.
