Yesterday we made a slow start. The kids played in the playground in weak winter sun, and Mark played computer games while I tidied the camper.
When I went to pay at Reception, the guy mentioned that snow was coming. Yes, it was cold. And yes, when we looked at the horizon to the west and the north, we could see the thick clouds.
So we made a start, and listening to the radio heard road closures and snow was behind us.
We did not do any sightseeing or anything, just driving. As we are heading back to Oxford for the last night before leaving on the Eurostar. We spent the night in the Slaters Inn, very nice and comfortable, and we are well rested this morning.
One the drive I saw two Muncjack, small deer feeding in a bog...v exciting.
You made yourself beautiful more like it, Mark
