We went by horse and cart up through the snowfilled forest, up to the Castle. Funny, it has never been finished as the king Ludwig II of Bavaria died before it was finished (only one of his many castles has been finished). There were several very impressive rooms open for display which we really enjoyed seeing.
Then we walked back down through the snow to get back into the cars and drive into Austria for dinner!
