Edinburgh

Being New Years Day lots was happening in Edinburgh and we had a hard time finding somewhere to park the camper.  A lot of the parking areas had been made "No Parking" for a special event that was being held in Grassmarket.  Finally found a single yellow line to park on (it's Sunday, so that's ok), and walked out for a few hours round Edinburgh.

WOW, Edinburgh is WOW.  Amazing high building crammed up around the castle.  Very picturesque.

Montana-Rose found a piper to have a photo with

and then got some "play" bagpipes of her own, although she can only make them "squeak" !

Edinburgh Castle is hewn and built on amazing solid rock...
