Ah, Paris...we managed to get a bright, partly sunny day with no rain for our day in Paris.
We went by train into the centre, then by Metro to the Eiffel Tower. It certainly was impressive, and the queues even more impressive. We decided not to try to go up, but enjoy her from the outside. We then made the mistake of falling for the Crepes with Chocolat, Banana, and Cream...Oh, the mess Montana-Rose made. Yummy but messy!
Then we walked across the sturdy Seine and down the side of the river till we came to the Champs Elysee. Past the Grand Palace (now an art gallery) and the Petit Palace (also an art gallery). Then down the Champs Elysee to the Paris Eye. On the way we visited some cute toilets with a lady there who was so friendly we paid her way to much for a pee! 6 Euros she got from us!
Montana-Rose, Albie and I went up the Eye, and look at the view. The others stayed down and waited for us, then we all walked into the Tuilleries gardens (the pix above) and had lunch.
Matt had SNAILS (just because he was in France), and Mark, Montana-Rose and Matt ate them, the rest of us demurred!
